Solitude - Rocket Rd to Sandy Bay

On Saturday I invited friends to join me on the walk along Rocket rd to Sandy Bay. It was unpleasant cold and windy. Stephen and his kids soon left me, it was just too cold.
Without company, the walk takes on a different quality. My perception changed to an awareness of being out in the cold on a lonely path to a far away foggy destination.
As I continue I noticed, despite the cold wind there is beautiful life to be experienced along the way.
A flower in a multitude of greens......
and a brave leaf with a purple heart.
The mountain announces its awaking and a glimps of spring with an explosion of yellow.
As I come down from the Rocket Rd I see the wreck of the Coppelia lying battered as a warning sign.
This shore is rocky and dangerous.
A lonely flower announces its desire to be met with aggressive colours.

It is good to look ahead to where I want to be.
On a path where the flowers play,
and are dangling like bells moved by the wind.
Finally I am home and with a deep breath take in the solitude of an empty beach.
